CONDITIONS
OF SERVICED APARTMENT BOOKING WITH VILLAGE APARTMENTS. These
conditions apply to all apartments. 1.
RESERVATION FEE: When making a booking a reservation fee equal to half
the total tariff or $500 whichever is the lesser must be paid. If not
paid the booking lapses. The Reservation Fee is part of the total tariff
payable. 2.
FINAL PAYMENT AND SECURITY DEPOSIT: The balance of the total tariff
together with the signature of who is responsible for the payment and a
security deposit is to be paid on arrival by cash, cheque or BPay. This
is essential and if it is not paid the booking is cancelled. Monies paid
to us prior to the booked period may be released to the property owner. A
security deposit may be required and held until inspection after the
premises are vacated. If no damage has occurred, or extra cleaning is
required, it will be refunded by cheque posted to you seven working days
after you vacate. IT WILL NOT BE REFUNDED ON DEPARTURE AND IS NOT
AVAILABLE AS CASH. 3.
CANCELLED OR TERMINATED BOOKINGS: A cancellation fee of $I5O will apply
under ANY and ALL circumstances. If the property is relet for the total
period formerly booked by you, the cancellation fee only will be charged
and the balance refunded. If the property is NOT relet for the total
period formerly booked by you, only the security deposit will be
refunded (see Clause 2). 4.
KEYS: Keys will not be made available until all monies have been
paid in full. Arrangements for the collection of keys outside of office
hours should be made prior to arrival. 5.
CHECK-IN AND VACATING TIMES: Occupation commences from 3.00 pm, on the
date of arrival and the premises must be vacated by 10.00 am on the day
of departure. Early check in and late check out can be arranged 6.
NUMBER OF PERSONS: The number of occupants must not exceed the number
agreed to with the agent at the time of booking. A breach of this
condition will permit the agent to refuse the key, amend the rental
tariff or immediately terminate the tenancy (see Clause 15). 7.
THE TERM: The premises are rented for residential purposes only, and for
the term stated. 8.
NO PETS: Animals and pets are not allowed on or inside the premises,
under any circumstances. 9.
BOOKINGS ARE ACCEPTED BY US IN GOOD FAITH AS AGENTS FOR VILLAGE
APARTMENTS BURNSIDE. the
property is sold. Should
this occur every reasonable endeavour would be made to find alternative
accommodation. (see Clause 3 for cancelled bookings). Should alternative
accommodation not be available all monies paid as deposit will be
refunded in full. We reserve the
right to allocate apartments as they become available. 10.NO
RESPONSIBILITY is taken by the agent or the owners for tenants' personal
property. 11.BREAKAGES
AND DAMAGE: the tenant(s) is/are responsible for all damages, breakages
and loss incurred during the term of occupancy. These are to be reported
paid for or replaced. Loss of a restricted key incurs a $50.00 charge,
loss of a gate remote incurs a $150.00 charge. 12.
CLEANING: Please assist by leaving the premises clean and tidy, with
cutlery and cooking utensils washed and put away, or additional cleaning
fees may be charged. 14.NOISE
POLLUTION is a punishable offence by Law and as such we reserve the
right to immediately terminate the tenancy for any breach of this
condition. 15.A
breach of any of the above conditions will permit the agent to refuse a
key, amend the rental or immediately terminate the tenancy. 16. The after hours emergency telephone number is 0412 348 212. This is an EMERGENCY number only. Non emergency call outs are subject to a $50.00 fee. |
